ARTCRANK PDX will feature hand-made, bike-inspired posters created by Portland area artists. Limited edition, signed and numbered copies of all posters will be available for $40 each.
UPDATE: ARTCRANK Portland Kicks off On Thursday, October 4 and runs through Saturday, October 6. This three-day bike art party takes place at The Cleaners, the stellar gallery space at The Ace Hotel in historic and perpetually awesome downtown Portland from. As always, admission is free. Limited-edition signed and numbered copies of every poster in the show will be available for $40.
We’ll be serving three craft beers by Portland’s own Widmer Brothers Brewing in ARTCRANK pint glasses all three nights of the show. The glasses (and two full pours) are just $5, and every penny goes to support Bicycle Transportation Alliance (BTA), our Cause Partner for this year’s show. BTA promotes bicycling and improve bicycling conditions in Oregon, creating communities where people can meet their daily transportation needs on a bike.
On Thursday night, Clif Bar is offering free valet bike parking directly in front of the venue on 10th Avenue and giving away a grip of Mojo bars to keep partygoers going strong. And thanks to a donation by Neenah Paper, all proceeds from sales of the ARTCRANK PDX 2012 show poster will also benefit BTA.
