UPDATE: Thanks to all who came out to enjoy ARTCRANK Chicago 2014 on Saturday, July 19 at Expo 72. The show is now closed.
We were proud and thrilled to showcase original, handmade, bike-inspired posters created by Chicago artists. Thanks also to our sponsors for supporting bikes and local art in the Windy City.
Upland Brewing Co. and Lakeshore Beverage provided a selection of craft beer in ARTCRANK pint glasses. All proceeds went to support World Bicycle Relief and its work to provide specially designed, locally assembled bicycles to entrepreneurs, healthcare workers and students across rural Africa through sustainable work-to-own and study-to-own programs.
Timbuk2 gave our artists a chance to have their poster design turned into a limited edition messenger bag. Follow the hashtag #timbuk2artcrank on Instagram to see all of the votes.
Shinola introduced its handcrafted bikes, watches and accessories to an appreciative crowd, providing ample evidence that “American made” is alive and well all over the country.
Neenah Paper‘s Photo Wall made for a night of inspired selfies for show-goers and ARTCRANK volunteers alike.
And there was plenty of love for “Future Perfect,” the poster commissioned by Clif Bar and ARTCRANK to benefit PeopleForBikes, the movement to unite millions of Americans in support of better bike riding experiences for everyone.
