A Poster Show for Bike People

ARTCRANK ATX 2012 poster design by Big Table Studio

UPDATE: We’re proud to announce the list of participating artists for the first-ever ARTCRANK Austin. The 30 artists listed at right will create original, bike-inspired posters that we’ll debut to Austin and the world at our Opening Night Party on Friday, February 24 at Pine Street Station. An extended run at Mellow Johnny’s Bike Shop is in the works after the 24th, so stay tuned for details on that.

Where you find bikes, you’re sure to find beer, and ARTCRANK Austin is no exception. At the Opening Night Party, a selection of craft beers by Widmer Brothers Brewing will be available in exclusive ARTCRANK pint glasses, with proceeds going to benefit LIVESTRONG, the Austin-based cancer patient advocacy organization. Our friend Darryl from Loving The Bike will be on hand with some goodies from Clif Bar as well.

If you’re new to this whole ARTCRANK thing, check out the video above and spend some time wandering our site to see photos and videos from previous shows. Please check back for updates, and follow ARTCRANK on Twitter and Facebook for the latest news.
